2026 WA World Ocean Day
Hosted by The Jock Clough Marine Foundation, WA World Ocean Day 2026 brought together scientists, ocean lovers, industry and the wider community to connect with and celebrate Western Australia’s unique marine environment.
Across two sessions — Wild West Waters and Turning Tides — guests explored marine science, conservation and sustainable fishing, alongside an exclusive exhibition of Roger Swainston’s life-size Rock Lobsters of the World paintings and a community coral mural created by Blank Walls.
The celebration continued with live music from Thornbird and a limited-edition World Ocean Day beer by Gage Roads, creating an event that blended education, conversation, art and entertainment.
For Entour, the challenge was transforming a lively pub environment into a polished and engaging amphitheatre where speakers, stories and science could take centre stage.
