UK SUMMER FESTIVAL SEASON with Sunbelt Rentals Event Technology
From Perth to the UK: Entour takes on a huge summer of live events
It’s not every day a Perth production team gets the call to help deliver a run of major Live Nation shows on the other side of the world.
But this UK summer, that’s exactly what happened.
Across a 12-week deployment, six of our ENTOUR team headed to the UK to support our former Production Manager, Ross Stephenson, and the Event Technology team at Sunbelt Rentals Event Technology as they delivered an enormous season of outdoor live events.
And when we say enormous, we mean it.
The program covered 11 major festival and outdoor concert sites across the UK, with our crew providing technical support and production operations across lighting and video.
From Forest Live A,B,C,D and Scarborough Open Air Theatre to The Piece Hall, Crystal Palace Bowl and Colchester Castle, it was a serious run of shows — delivered back-to-back across an incredibly demanding summer schedule.
A small team. A massive job.
Ross made the move from Perth to the UK and joined Sunbelt Rentals UK, stepping into a season that would test just about every part of his production experience. With only seven weeks to prepare for the season and a huge program ahead, some familiar reinforcements were called in from home.
Enter ENTOUR.
Our Perth-based crew joined Ross and the Sunbelt team for a 12-week UK deployment, working across technical delivery, onsite operations and production support.
At its peak, the workload meant weeks pushing close to 100 hours — long days, late nights, quick turnarounds and plenty of kilometres between sites.
It was hard work. Really hard work.
But it was also the kind of opportunity our industry is built around: good people coming together, solving problems under pressure and doing whatever is needed to get the show up and running.

For ENTOUR, it was a pretty special reminder of just how far the skills developed in the Perth events industry can travel.
We’re incredibly proud of our crew for taking on a deployment of this scale, and of Ross for the role he played leading delivery through an extraordinarily demanding season.
Most importantly, we loved having the opportunity to work alongside the Sunbelt Rentals Event Technology team. The professionalism, resilience and sheer work ethic required to deliver this volume of major events is something you can only really appreciate when you’re in the middle of it.
Twelve weeks. Eleven major sites. Some very long days.
And a Perth production crew making its mark more than 14,000 kilometres from home.
Not a bad way to spend a UK summer.
